Workshop at the University of Lisbon, Portugal

The Ash Pachauri, Senior Mentor of the POP Movement conducted a workshop with students of Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (ISCSP) at the University of Lisbon in Portugal on May 10, 2019. Several student leaders, including Miguel Ferreira, a dynamic student leader who pioneered the POP Movement in Portugal, joined the workshop. During the 2-hour workshop, students shared the importance of addressing plastic and chemical pollution, animal rights, and rising carbon emissions, and several other environmental issues relevant to Portugal.
After the workshop, the Senior Mentor had a lunch meeting with the POP Movement’s student coordinators. Following this, he was interviewed by Mr. Cláudio Fonseca, the founder of Podcaster, the most popular podcast service in Portugal.
