On November 6, 2018 a climate awareness generation activity and participatory workshop was conducted with 42 middle school students of Centro de Bachillerato Tecnológico Industrial y de Servicios (CBTIS 111) in Cancun, Quintana Roo. The students noted the lack of environmental consciousness and commercial interests as being the primary barriers to climate action and pledged to take action by joining the POP Movement.
