Dr. Rashed Ahmed Mohamed Aldhanhani is a distinguished Emirati educator and environmental leader whose career reflects a lifelong commitment to learning, public service, and sustainable development. Originally from Fujairah, he began his professional journey in education, where he successfully managed and led schools, helping shape the academic growth of countless students and strengthening educational standards in the Emirate.
Building on this foundation, Dr. Rashed joined Ajman University’s Fujairah campus (now University of Fujairah) as a professor, dedicating himself to higher education, research, and the development of future generations. His passion for education and knowledge has remained a defining characteristic throughout his career.
For more than twelve years, Dr. Rashed has served in a senior capacity at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment in Abu Dhabi, where he has contributed to advancing the United Arab Emirates’ environmental sustainability agenda. Combining his deep educational expertise with environmental leadership, he has played an important role in promoting sustainability, climate action, and national development.
In recognition of his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to empowering communities through education and environmental stewardship, Dr. Rashed was honored as Principal Ambassador of the POP (Protect Our Planet) Movement in the United Arab Emirates. His career exemplifies a rare combination of intellectual excellence, public service, and dedication to building a more sustainable future for generations to come.
