Dr. Ash Pachauri, Co-Founder and Senior Mentor of the POP Movement, participated as a Distinguished Speaker at the International Conference on “ESG Transversality for a Sustainable Water–Energy–Health–Environment Nexus,” held on 6–7 March 2026 at the India International Centre, New Delhi.

The conference was part of the Water Transversality Global Awards & Conclave 2026, organized by the India Water Foundation in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP-SSWA Office) and the South and South‑West Asia Network on Sustainable Development (SANS).

The Conclave brought together leaders from governments, international organizations, academia, industry, and civil society to discuss ESG integration, sustainability metrics, carbon neutrality, and cross-sectoral collaboration. The platform highlighted the importance of linking water, energy, health, and environmental systems to achieve sustainable and resilient development.

During the conference, Dr. Pachauri shared insights on the importance of integrated approaches and collective action in addressing global sustainability challenges. His participation underscored the POP Movement’s commitment to fostering dialogue and collaboration that advances solutions for people and the planet.

The 2026 edition of the Conclave also featured the Water Transversality Global Awards, the release of a special postal cover by India Post, and the 18th Founding Day celebration of the India Water Foundation, marking a significant milestone in promoting sustainable water and environmental governance.
