The POP Movement was honored to participate in the South-South University Cooperation Network (SUCN) Blue Economy Pilot Project’s Co-Design Workshop. Representing the POP Movement, Research Associate and Youth Mentor Ms. Komal Mittal joined other key stakeholders from higher education, public sector, and civil society to contribute to this vital initiative. The workshop, organized by the UNESCO IESALC and the UN Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC), focused on enhancing South-South and triangular cooperation to develop solutions for a sustainable blue economy. Discussions centered on leveraging scientific knowledge, public policy, and local community engagement to mitigate the impacts of climate change on coastal regions.
