Nayantara resides in Melbourne, Australia. She completed her schooling in India at the Convent of Jesus & Mary School. She, then completed her History Honours Degree at the Delhi University. She has a Masters Degree in History along with Art Appreciation and India Art and Culture Courses at the National Museum, Delhi .

She was on the board with Haryana Government India of setting up of the Panipat War Memorial Museum.

She has completed her Bachelor of Education and has taught primary students for 10 years. She undertook a number of environmental awareness programs with young children. She has always been hugely influenced by her father figure, Dr. R.K. Pachauri. “He would talk of climate change when we were young kids but we did not realize what a huge impact these two words would have on the world.”

I will try to my best ability to keep up his legacy alive b y working on environmental issues.
