Activity 22:In collaboration with the Forest Department/District Commission’s Office, Ministry of Education Zambia, Needs for Orphans Foundation, and POP Zambia Initiative, Mr. Kangwa, Levy Nyirenda, and Mr. R. Chilolo from the Lusaka POP Zambia team organized a Tree Planting event at Isoka District Hospital. The event took place on March 10, 2023, and saw the participation of over 60 community members. The session, themed “Preparing for Youth Day Sustainability,” aimed to educate the youth on the importance of tree planting programs in environmental protection. As a result, many young individuals developed an interest in tree-planting practices. Numerous trees were planted at the hospital, totaling over 100 as part of the event’s efforts.
