As a part of the climate education and tree planting project, eighth activity was conducted on “UN 2030 Agenda and its Importance” with an objective to inform learners about the SDGs at Munali Boys Secondary School on October 11, 2022 with the support of Ministry of Education Zambia, Needs for Orphans Foundation, United People Global, and UN MGCY by the POP Zambia Initiative facilitator Blessington Lweendo.

During the activity, the facilitators managed to reach out and educate learners on the impact and consequences of climate change while promoting sustainable living and identified the knowledge gap as some learners lacked basic knowledge on climate change. Around 65 school boys were directly impacted and promised to join the POP Zambia.
