As a part of the climate education and tree planting project, fourth activity was conducted “Prevention is better than cure” with an objective that it is better to prevent dangerous consequences of climate change than being affected in order to start acting at Mahati Magande Combined School, Zambia with the support of Ministry of Education and Needs for Orphans Foundation and United People Global on Sep 16, 2022. During the activity, about 200+ school students were taught about the SDGs and its indicators and the impact and consequences of climate change. Mitigation and sustainable lifestyle activities were also promoted and an environmental committee was formed by the Grade 11 class students with a promise to engage students from other classes by the team of facilitators led by Levy Nyirenda, Blessingtone Lweendo, Titus Mabuya, Violet Lungu and Philip Chilukusha from Zambia.
