Dr. Saroj Pachauri is a distinguished public health physician, author, and climate-health advocate with over six decades of global leadership. As the former Regional Director of the Population Council in South and East Asia, she pioneered groundbreaking research in family planning, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, and adolescent self-care models that have shaped national policies. She currently serves as Director and Climate-Health Mentor of the POP Movement, advancing youth leadership on the health impacts of climate change.

A prolific author with over 100 books, chapters, and peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Pachauri has been featured in the award-winning documentary “8 Billion Angels” and on global podcasts, including “Public Health Uncoded.” Her lifetime of contributions has been honored with the Maharishi Lifetime Achievement Award, the Rashtriya Samman Patra by the Government of India, and recognition as Woman of the Year 2024 & 2025 by Her Excellency Dra. Rosalia Arteaga, former President of Ecuador and President of the Rosalía Arteaga Glocal Women Foundation.
