On January 17, 2023, the POP Movement, represented by Youth Mentor Philo Magdalene, participated in a panel discussion with Rahul Jain, director of the movie “Invisible Demons,” Dr. Philipp Ackermann, German Ambassador to India and Bhutan, and Helene Bukowski, novelist. The panel discussion was part of the screening of the documentary “Invisible Demons,” organized at the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan in New Delhi by the German Embassy New Delhi.

Climate change is a massive challenge – for international institutions, national politics, and civil society. But we also have to face it at the individual level. How do we make sense of it? How do we react psychologically, between anxiety, anger, and apathy? And how can the arts, activism, and politics work together to find the right response to environmental issues? These were the questions that the panel discussion sought to address with questions and insights from the audience.

The POP Movement’s team Drishya Pathak, Komal Mittal, Remigius Fernandes, and Manish Gupta joined the event. In addition, students, teachers, and dignitaries from the Manav Rachna Group of Educational Institutions also engaged in the session, representing the MR-POP India Talks.
