Introduction to Technologies of Consciousness to Balance the Environment

On August 4, 2022, the Venezuelan Youth Mentor of The Protect Our Planet (POP) Movement, Ricardo Delgado Lander, alongside instructors from the Maharishi University of Latin America and the Caribbean (UMLAC), delivered an introductory online workshop on Technologies of Consciousness and Transcendental Meditation addressed to various environmentalists from Valencia, Venezuela.
This activity introduced local activists and leaders of vulnerable communities to the benefits of Maharishi’s Technologies of Consciousness by the hand of the instructors Virginie Courvoisier, Rose Atkinson, and Alvaro Salinas as part of the Luces para la Madre Tierra project (Lights for Mother Earth, in English) that aims to bring balance, peace, and harmony to the Earth and its communities.
Among the attendees, there were members of POP Venezuela, Center for Democratic Activism and Development (CDDLatam), Meraki Foundation, student representatives from local universities, and the hosts of Union Radio Valencia’s program “La Nota Ambiental”.
The human rights activist and Arturo Michelena University’s student representative, María Alejandra Rotering, referred to Technologies of Consciousness as “a lovely and quite different experience that deserves all the world’s attention”.
