Integral Investing as a Tool to Achieve more Sustainable, Just and Inclusive Societies: Dr. Mariana Bozesan in POP Climate Leadership Conversations

Dr. Mariana Bozesan, Co-Founder at AQAL AG & President at AQAL Foundation, joined a conversation with Honorary POP Ocean Mentor, Ana Hanhausen and other POP youth leaders focused on integral investing as a tool to achieve more sustainable, just and inclusive societies, as part of “POP Climate Leadership Conversations: A Tribute to Our Chief Mentor” on August 11, 2021.
When asked about the meaning of leadership, Dr. Bozesan spoke about how leadership is the manifestation of human activity in every area, as it evolves with our evolution, our culture, and our understanding of ourselves and the world. She spoke about the importance of conscious and integral investing as a way to promote better practices and a more sustainable future, as the current system harms the planet and the most vulnerable populations. Furthermore, she emphasized the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals and implementing them within planetary boundaries. She highlighted the importance of all the SDGs as a whole and remarked why they cannot be picked and chosen according to our interests as they are all necessary for a sustainable future.

Dr. Mariana Bozesan is the author of the Club of Rome report, Integral Investing: From Profit to Prosperity.
