The Blue Warriors club is an initiative by Ervis Foundation’s Blue Circle Group. The program aims for the youth leaders to organize a club in their schools with a focus to engage and inspire their fellow schoolmates and together organize, lead and implement awareness and action programs within their schools and communities. The Club is led and driven by the youth and is primarily organized virtually. The program has been launched by youth leaders Ved Sanyal and Haaziq Kazi in Indus International School, Pune and by Preyasi Desai, Aarav Bhansali, and Heer Desai in Fountainhead School, Surat.

The Blue Circle youth leaders will organize an eight-session program (virtually) in their schools with an objective to create a strong committee of Blue Leaders. During the course of the program, the Blue Circle leaders and the Club leaders will learn and engage in important discussions around pertinent issues regarding our marine environment. In the sessions, the youth leaders will explore topics such as - 'Plastic and our Oceans,' 'Plastic and our Biodiversity,' 'Effects of Plastic on our Health and Lifestyle and Waste Management Systems,' 'Role of Different Stakeholders in Tackling Plastic Pollution,' 'Role of Policy Making and Implementation,' and 'Importance of Science and Innovation’. They will also engage in interesting activities to gain a practical understanding of the topics. Towards the end of the sessions, they will also work on developing an action plan together, for the year to come.

The goal is to have the Club leaders take charge post the sessions and organize various awareness and action campaigns every month. They will also be encouraged to focus on measuring the different outcomes and impacts reaped from their initiatives. Every month, the youth leaders will organize a meeting to discuss the actions taken for the month and the plan for the next month.

The Club will culminate at the end of the year, where we will work towards organizing a Plastic/Blue Warriors Conclave. The event will have all the Club leaders from different schools and cities presenting their work and achievements for the year. It will also include an awards ceremony to commemorate the top initiatives and leaders. Additionally, the event will witness dialogues with experts and eminent personalities from the field of the environment.
