On September 5, 2020, Dr. Ash Pachauri, POP Senior Mentor joined as a panelist in a “Web Dialogue Series on Environment and Sustainability Issues” organized by the Global Foundation and Central Himalayan Institute for Nature and Applied Research (CHINAR) to discuss the youth’s perspective on India’s environment. Besides creating awareness on key issues and the challenges present, the deliberations sought to share information and relevant perspectives on solutions that could be incorporated in projects and programs, and also shared as recommendations with concerned departments and agencies.

The web dialogue also featured the participation of diverse experts including Ms. Aarushi Tanwar, climate activist, Mr. Shelly Shaurya, author of ‘Bamboonomics: The Tall Grass Comes of Age’, Ms. Meenakshi Sharma, socio-environmental entrepreneur, Dr Pradeep Mehta, Honorary Chairman, CHINAR, and Dr. Pranab J. Patar, Chief Executive, Global Foundation.
