DESCRIPTION:The POP Movement is pleased to share that Dr. Ash Pachauri\, Director and Co-Founder of the POP Movement\, has been invited to participate as a panelist at the Thessaloniki Sustainability Summit (TSS) 2026\, to be held on 14–15 September 2026 in Thessaloniki\, Greece. \nOrganized annually by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Black Sea\, in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS)\, the Summit serves as an international platform for dialogue on sustainable development\, bringing together leaders from academia\, policy\, civil society\, and international organizations. \nThe theme of this year’s Summit\, “Universities for Sustainable Development: Innovation\, Research\, and Action\,” will explore the critical role of higher education institutions in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through research\, innovation\, collaboration\, and community engagement. \nDr. Pachauri has accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation as a panelist. Through his contribution\, he will share perspectives on youth leadership\, sustainability\, education\, and the importance of collaborative partnerships in driving meaningful climate action and sustainable development. \nThe POP Movement is honoured to contribute to this important international dialogue and looks forward to engaging with experts\, researchers\, educators\, and policymakers from around the world to advance innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.

SUMMARY:Energy Summit 2026 to Advance Solar Energy and Sustainable Development
DESCRIPTION:The Energy Summit 2026 – Solar for Peace and Sustainability: Powering the Future will be held on 24–25 September 2026 at Manav Rachna University\, Faridabad\, bringing together experts and stakeholders committed to accelerating the clean energy transition. \nThe summit is being organized by the Manav Rachna Centre for Peace & Sustainability (MRCPS) and the Manav Rachna School of Business\, in collaboration with the POP Movement\, the Netzero Energy Transition Association (NETRA)\, and the Solar Energy Society of India (SESI). \nDesigned as a platform for dialogue and collaboration\, the summit will convene policymakers\, industry leaders\, researchers\, entrepreneurs\, investors\, academics\, and students to exchange ideas\, showcase innovations\, and explore practical solutions for advancing renewable energy and sustainable development. \nThe two-day programme will feature keynote addresses\, panel discussions\, policy dialogues\, startup showcases\, technical paper and poster presentations\, and networking opportunities focused on emerging trends and technologies in the renewable energy sector. \nResearchers and professionals are invited to contribute their work. Abstract submissions are open until 15 July 2026\, while full papers must be submitted by 10 August 2026.
